NOW THAT THE CRIES OF 'RAAACISM' have died down somewhat, it's time to note that Cliven Bundy is less a racist than an astute observer of the contemporary welfare state.

Day by Day has a reminder of how the Democrats' plantation came to be.

And here's the vote breakdown for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (yea-nay):
Senate:
Democrat Party: 46–21 (69–31%)
Republican Party: 27–6 (82–18%)

House:
Democrat Party: 153–91 (63–37%)
Republican Party: 136–35 (80–20%)
Note that the Civil Rights Act would not have passed without overwhelming Republican (then the minority party) support.

And a final note: I don't believe in 'trigger warnings'. Don't like it; don't click the links.
