Kerry and the Obama administration remind me of an old joke from my days as a military contractor. A Prussian leader (Bismarck?) once divided military personnel into four categories: brilliant & industrious; brilliant & lazy; stupid & industrious; and stupid & lazy. The brilliant & industrious were to become his field generals; the brilliant & lazy, their staff. The stupid & lazy were kept as cannon fodder; the stupid & industrious kicked out.

Now we know from where the Obama administration came....
