AFTER 11-1/2 BILLION MILES: Voyager 1 is still in the solar system.
I was a member of the Voyager (then known as Mariner Jupiter-Saturn, or MJS) telecommunication team in 1973-75. In the last 39 years, Voyager has gone from Earth to Jupiter to Saturn and is about to exit the solar system. I've gone from the west coast through Texas to the east coast and am seriously considering exiting the United States....
