ANN COULTER: the 'melting pot' isn't melting any more. I have to admit being somewhat surprised by Coulter's data, since I had always believed that new immigrants would be more supportive of the American dream. The difference between my (naive, admittedly) assumption and Coulter's data is that assimilation is occurring, but it is into the 'American welfare' culture, not the 'American dream' culture.
