THE OBAMA JUSTICE DEPARTMENT requires attendees to show photo ID to confirm their reservation at a discrimination conference, but does not allow states such as Alabama, South Carolina, and Texas to require photo ID to vote. Photo ID for me but not for thee. In both cases it's to protect government incumbency, not the people.
