RHETORICAL QUESTION: Why do Democrats want high taxation as their brand? Because their voters don't pay taxes.

We're entering an Atlas Shrugged moment where the taxpayers are about to revolt. Regarding the President's "spread it around" philosophy, if it comes to a point where he says the government is going to raise taxes whose wealth exceeds, say, 1 million dollars or whose annual earnings exceeds, say, $250,000, then there are people who are going to say "At $999,999, I'm going to quit saving and take some Spenditol." Or "At $249,999, I'm going to quit working for the rest of the year."

Count on it.
