REST IN PEACE, WANDA [? - 11/11/2024].

Wanda came to us after the death of her first owner, who had named her Wonda ("I wonda how she came here"). She lived with us for about 2 years, until finally succumbing to a cancerous tumor today.

We'll miss her.

FALLING LEAVES 2024 WEEK 8: This will be the final week of this year's series. Normally I go about 10 weeks, but that hard freeze we had a few weeks shortened this series significantly. What's funny this year is that except for winds, the last 2-3 weeks have been very mild. Lows in the low 50's and highs in the mid 70's.

That said, here are the three usuals:

In all three pictures, the leaves are gone. Even the ground cover (brush, flowers, etc.) has mostly gone. Only a couple of flowers have survived, and I suspect that's only because they were brought in at night during the freeze.

Finally, here are two pictures taken down at the pond. It's sunny, and very calm, so the pond surface is mirror-like:

There are no leaves at all on the deciduous trees, and the slope in the second photo is all leaves; the brush is completely gone.

DONALD J.TRUMP will be the next President of the United States. Pennsylvania was called for Trump at 1:30 am this morning, making his electoral total 267. He needs 270 to make his win official, but that means he only has to win one of the undecided states; Harris needs to win them all.

Let the progressive riots begin....
