DUTCH ORCHESTRA walks out on Muslim guest conductor.

When the most liberal country in Europe pulls the plug on Islam, the world is beginning to see the light. Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands attended a concert in the capital, Amsterdam. The Guest Conductor, who just happens to be Muslim, proceeded to give the Queen a lecture on the "beauty" of Islam. The entire orchestra got up and walked out, refusing to be associated with someone lecturing their Queen. The staff of the music hall escorted the conductor off-stage, and after questioning, out of the building.

Now that took courage. Good for the people of Holland. Watch the walk out.

No problem. I gave up years ago when I found I couldn't afford a family and flying at the same time.

2. Dam every waterway to create hydroelectric power.

I've already got a dam; just need Alexandria and her minions to install the turbine to run the generator. Of course she has to pay for it.

3. Adopt a law requiring that thermostats not be able to be set higher than 65 degrees when heating or below 77 degrees when cooling.

Sorry, but the limits have to be 70/72 for me to accept.

4. Free electric cars.

I can probably make room for one car, provided she pays for installation of the charging station. But I'm not giving up my other two.

5. Solar panels and windmills on every home.

I've got plenty of south-facing roof for Alexandria and her minions to put solar panels on. Her nickel, of course. Windmills are a bit touchy in my neck of the woods unless she wants to take out several hundred trees.

6. No smart phones.

No problem; I hate them.

7. Nuclear power for all.

Yes, agreed. One in the center of every city having a population greater than 100,000 to minimize the transmission lines.

CUOMO IS AN ASS! 'Travel ban' keeps collegiate swim team from competing in National championship held in North Carolina.

Governor Cuomo put the ban in place in 2016 in response to the Tar Heel State’s efforts to stop men from using the women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and showers and it’s not yet been repealed. It was initially described as a ban on “official travel” for state employees, but the rule affected more people than state government workers. The ban also applied to travel by anyone using state funds.

Since the team has raised its own funds, it should tell Cuomo to get screwed, go, compete and dare him to do anything about it.

Remind me to never go to New York for any reason as long as that idiot is in office.
