FALL FOLIAGE 2014: Week 4.
Lots of wind again this week, and much more leaf fall, and - finally - some color change beginning. Last week's picture is here, and you can click back to Week One from there.

POWERLINE'S Week in Pictures -- Groundhog Day redux -- is up. Here's my favorite this week:
It neatly encapulates the liberal mindset.

HILLARY CLINTON: Business don’t create jobs! Then who does?
I repeat myself, but the question remains: are Democrats even capable of rational thought?

One has to wonder if Democrats are even capable of rational thought.

WASHINGTON POST ON EDUCATION: Colleges aren't the problem. K-12 is. Um, just where do you think those K-12 teachers are coming from?

FALL FOLIAGE 2014: Week three.
There's been a lot of leaf fall, given the winds we've had the last two days, but not much change in colors. Last week's picture is here, and you can click back to Week One from there.

POWERLINE'S WEEK IN PICTURES (quarantine edition) is up. My favorite (of many):

FALL FOLIAGE 2014: Here's the Week Two picture. We had a lot of wet and very little cool last week, so the leaves continue falling slowly, and there's still lots of green.
BUT ... comparing today's photo to last week, we may be looking to see some rather vibrant color later on this fall.

NEXTGEN: FAA plan for skies with no drones is no plan at all.
In what can be considered as nothing less than a negligent lack of foresight, designers of the new U.S. air traffic control system that is supposed to be taking us into the future forgot to include drones in their planning.Oops.
