NOT DEFEATED, CRUSHED: The Democrats must be defeated.
And then the earth salted under their feet.

THIS IS FROM PowerLine's last Week in Pictures. Again, my favorite:
And check out the definition of 'latte' for the uninformed.

OH, MY, I've forgoten to post PowerLine's Week in Pictures. The Presidential Alert Edition is from October 6th. My favorite:
And guess who spent the most time in Viet Nam?

DEPARTACUS: The Washington Post is a left-leaning newspaper. Really? when did you figure that out?
I found this part somewhat amusing:
I found this part somewhat amusing:
When do you think the last time was when any measurable number of voters had their minds changed by a newspaper endorsement? I’m guessing that ended pretty much with the advent of the internet.I don't think so. Starting when I moved to the D.C. metro area, I've read the Washington Post's political endorsements - and voted the exact opposite.
THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW REASONS I'M GLAD I'M RETIRED: How identity politics is harming the sciences. I saw it coming in the last few years before I abandoned ship. I pity those (few real) scientists and engineers who have come aboard since.

IRONY OVERLOAD ALERT: Billionaire Democrat megadonor Tom Steyer says ‘rich entitled white men’ are trying to control politics. He's right. He just identified the wrong party.

BREAKING NEWS: DNA test shows Elizabeth Warren has a Native American heritage; the average European American likely has a stronger DNA heritage.

AUTUMN LEAVES, INSTALLMENT V: It finally feels like fall in the north Georgia mountains, and it's finally beginning to look like it too. Here's the view from the deck:
Not a whole lot of difference from last week. The picture is brigher because the early morning fog is not around during late afternoon. Here's the fire pit:
Again, not a whole lot of obvious change, although you can see more brown in the background - and much more yard debris. Now, looking at the house from down the pond path:
The house itself (left center) is getting a bit more visible. Because the picture is darker, the browns are not a visible as they really are. The house will become more visible when (if) the leaves drop.
The pond is beginning to show real change, finally. I'd like to see last year's colors, but it seems to be green-then-drop this year.
This week I used the telephoto lens; you can now begin to see the stair rail leading up to the house. As with the pond view, the leaves seem to have adopted a green-then-drop philosophy.
And this week, an extra:
This is similar to the pond view above, but because I'm in the shade with the sun more-or-less behind my back the colors are much better.
Last week's pictures are here.

PAYBACK IS A BITCH: Trump bucks tradition, snubs DiFi, Kamala to tap three conservative judges for Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dianne Feinstein isn't happy.

POLITICO: ‘Trump Anxiety Disorder’ is driving liberals crazy.
