WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for October 23, 2020:
Well, I missed the Tuesday update (again; apologies). Still, nothing much has changed. Daily deaths remain in the mid-700's range, with a possible slight uptick which is probably a result of a spike on Wednesday the 21st. The percentage of positive tests remains about 7% and the survival rate remains at 99.8% of confirmed cases. The October average number of coronavirus tests performed daily remains about 1 million.

The state of Georgia is getting behind again -- no results yet for today, but daily reported new cases remain in the 1,200 range, deaths average 30, and hospitalizations have risen from 1,250 to 1,300 (all 7-day averages).

I LIKE THE STREISAND EFFECT: Twitter's ban on the Biden laptop scandal nearly doubled its visibility.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Dr. Scott Atlas will soon be the Director of either the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Or both....
POWERING CALIFORNIA WITH WIND – A utility’s perspective.
Milton Friedman famously declared that “one of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.” While California desperately needs to apply this wisdom across the policy spectrum, arguably, the gap between policy leaders’ intentions and the empirical results are the widest when it comes to the state’s global climate change policies.
With Democrats, intentions are the results. Consequences don't matter.
