With respect to these nationwide injunctions, President Trump needs to tell the 'judiciary' to pound sand and refuse to disburse all future funds until the Supreme Court finally speaks.

2025 SPRING LEAVES, WEEK 8: The green has arrived, finally. My annual Poof! day -- when all seems suddenly green -- hasn't arrived quite yet, but it's close.

Here are my two usuals, the pond and fire pit views. Note that while the leaves have yet to fully show, all the trees now have leaves on them. Even across the pond the green is obvious.

Up along our road, the house and yard (such as it is) are awash in color. The iris are blooming spectacularly this year, and the other flowering plants are now showing up. The elephant ear shoots near the fire pit have finally popped up -- for the deer to eat apparently.

From down at the pond what we think are orange-flowered azaleas have bloomed. One of these days I'm going to go down and cut out the brush surrounding them so they won't get choked out and have more room to grow.

Finally, the house from down at the pond. The pictures taken above along the road were taken early Saturday, when the weather was early spring-like cool, misty, and mostly cloudy. These last two were taken later in the afternoon, with the sun shining brightly.
