WATCHING HANNITY last week as he hosted a town hall with the Republican members of both houses of Congress it was notable that with his every question the response was uniformly 'we will all support our president'.

That reminded me of this quote attributed to Ben Franklin in the context of signing the Declaration of Independence: Gentlemen, we must hang together or we will [surely] hang separately.

They did so for our first president; the question is will they do so this time around?

The power to draft them into public service.
