#SOCIALISM: What it's like to eat in a country that's on the verge of collapse.

Socialism is a political system where everyone gets an equal share of nothing. I'm reminded (again) of this quote from Robert Heinlein:

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck.”

Vote for Bernie (or Hillary) and you, too, can have bad luck.

Only little people deserve an equal share of nothing.

RANDOM THOUGHTS from the retirement lane. The sole purpose of income/wealth redistribution is to make everyone equally poor; or as I put it in other posts, to guarantee everyone an equal share of nothing.

WITH UNEMPLOYMENT HIGH AND JOBS BEING ELIMINATED, when will Obama start caring? Rand Paul misses the point: Obama is caring. When people work, they make money, which removes their need for government 'support' and potentially increases income inequality. Which obviates the need for Obama to 'care'.

Remember, the sole purpose of liberalism is to ensure the (little) people get an equal share of nothing.

IT'S NOT A TRAIN WRECK, it's a cancer.

The goal of liberalism is for everyone to have an equal share of nothing.

EVEN DEMOCRATS balk at Obama's minimum wage hike. Perhaps they're finally coming to the realization that Obama's redistributionism is all about ensuring that all Americans (well, all excluding the ruling class) have an equal share of nothing.

THOMAS PIKETTY wants income equality --- and the hell with growth.

Translation: everyone deserves an equal share of nothing.
