WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for August 28, 2020:

Still more same old, same old. Daily deaths remain high but stable; trend lines still suggest a decrease. My estimate of the death rate continues to decline, now at 0.0549%.

My uninfected (more correctly, probably uninfected) Americans estimate is now at zero; i.e., the entire U.S. population has been exposed to the coronavirus if not actually infected. Since my death rate estimate depends on an estimate of the infected/exposed population (now the entire U.S. population) I will no longer post either estimate.

The coronavirus outbreak in Georgia appears stable. Newly reported cases have been steadily declining since August 11th; deaths remain high (at about 1/2 the April peak) but are stable and may have begun to decline slowly. Hospitalizations have been steadily declining since Aug 4th.
