WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for August 25, 2020:

More of the same old, same old. Daily deaths are high (~1000/day) but stable, and trend lines still suggest a slow decrease. My estimate of the death rate continues to decline, albeit slowly. It's now at 0.0551%.

My uninfected (more correctly, probably uninfected) Americans estimate is now at 0.0135% and will certainly zero by next post. At that point I'll quit posting the estimate and simply assume that the entire U.S. population has been exposed to the coronavirus if not actually infected.

The coronavirus outbreak in Georgia has stabilized. Newly reported cases are now about half the mid-July peak; deaths peaked in mid-August and have begun to decline slowly. Current hospitalizations are now 30% below the July 30th peak and are continuing to decline.
