WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for July 24, 2020:

The days remain 'interesting'. Cumulative deaths are still rising and daily deaths remain higher but remain relatively stable over the past few days. [Note the scale change (again).]

My estimate of the number of uninfected Americans and the daily death rate continue to decline, now at 30.150% and 0.0621% respectively.

Since the number of confirmed cases appear to be 'spiking' it's worth taking a brief look at the current testing (next graph).

As of today, there have been a total of nearly 50 million tests performed nationwide, only 4 million (~8%) of which are positive. The green triangles represent the number of daily deaths (right axis) with the dashed line being a 2-week rolling average. If the daily deaths were plotted on the same axis as the test data it would be indistinguishable from the horizontal axis.

Georgia remains open but the number of confirmed cases remain very high (~3,700/day over the last week) and daily deaths remain high (mid-70's) for three of the last 4 days.
