PAVING THE ROAD TO HELL with good (read stupid) intentions:

A professor recently wrote a candid essay in which she confessed a secret: she didn't want to write a letter of recommendation for a student, solely because this student has different views (presumably) about gun rights.

Arrogant, intolerant, and oblivious to her biases (and how destructive they are), she is everything that is wrong with modern higher education.

Instapundit has what I think is a simple solution to the SJW liberal bias in higher education: make the university responsible for repayment of student loan debt. Don't think they can afford it? Think again. Those numbers are billions (with a 'B').

I'd add just one tiny refinement: make the department granting the degree responsible for payback. Then sit back and watch the number of SJW degree-granting departments plummet.
