SELF-DEPORTATION WORKS! Capturing a bat indoors in nearly impossible, but we've done it a couple of times before. Last night, about 11 pm, we had another 'illegal immigrant' in our bedroom. Not wanting to stay up another hour or two to capture the critter, we chose to kick the cats (who probably brought it in) out, close up the room, open a window, remove the window screen and depart for another bedroom.

By morning, it had self-deported.
