THE ECONOMIC IGNORANCE of Democrats is simply astounding.

Linked from the PJ Tatler.
HEH: Beset by scandal, D.C. Democrats snubbed at own convention. Taken for granted by their very own -- that's what happens in a one-party town.
SARAH PALIN was right, after all.
OBAMA VS. ROMNEY: on science policy. Click through the link to read the written responses, or go here. I score it as a clear Romney win, and more evidence of Obama's 'we belong to government' governing philosophy.
WELCOME TO the world of single-payer healthcare.
WE NEED GLOBAL CONTROLS ON BUSYBODIES. Enforced with tar, feathers, and other coercive elements.
EVERY OBAMA PROMISE comes with an expiration date, but ... 24 hours?
RAND SIMBERG: How Romney should fight back.
WHY DEMOCRATS are abandoning Obama. "President Obama is offering nothing but blame for the previous administration and his own pipe dreams at a time when voters need some real assurance if they’re going to believe the economy can be saved. Unfortunately, speaking as one of those Democrats, I have little hope that President Obama will change."
POLITICAL CALCULATIONS: Are Americans Better Off Than They Were Four Years Ago?

Uh, no.
THE DNC ACCEPTANCE SPEECHES:

President Obama
Good? Bad? Indifferent? You make the call.

THE MANHATTAN INSTITUTE: The Moral Case for Capitalism.
Capitalism is not perfect. But no system created by human beings is, or ever will be, perfect. The most we can hope for is continuing gradual improvement. To this end, we must honestly examine the prospects of the available systems of political economy. The benefits of the free-enterprise society are enormous and unprecedented; they have meant the difference between life and death for hundreds of millions of people and have afforded a dignity to populations that are otherwise forgotten. We should wish to extend these benefits rather than to curtail them.
Read it all. It's important.
CLINT EASTWOOD: "A lot of people are realizing they had the wool pulled over their eyes by Obama."
DON'T FORGET TO VOTE.
One sunny day in January, 2013, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he'd been sitting on a park bench.

He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."

The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here."

The old man said, "Okay," and walked away. The following day the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."

The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here." The man thanked him and again just walked away. The third day the same man
approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I've told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?"

The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it." The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir.
That old man is depending on you!
